Emily Irene VanCamp initially aspired to become a professional actor, but became interested following a visit to Katie at the Ladies Room film set. As she took acting classes as well, she also got guest roles on Canadian TV programs. Some of the TV series that she appeared in were Are You scared to be in the Dark? Radio Active. VanCamp made a significant breakthrough in his career following being cast on Glory Days, the WB mystery horror show.
